Hell yeah man looks like a great trip! Always a little body damage, makes for good memories haha :P.

That very first pic is Thousand Dollar Hill I believe, JUST on the tahoe side of Little Sluice? Short wheel base vehicles can make that interesting lol

yes, that is thousand dollar hill. the group i was in was all tjs, cjs, and one jk. a tj and cj made it up the left side. but a few fully built tjs, aka tons, full hydro, full cage sitting on like 40s, made it up pretty easy.

for sure a learning experience. but it just makes me want to build my jeep faster so i can do more challenging obstacles.

It was eye opening the first time I wheeled it many years ago, helped create the drive to tinker and modify as much as I do now. How's the drivetrain on your jeep, any driveshaft pinstriping or bent LCA mounts @ the axle? Just things I remember from stock axle wheelin

Those rock lights look good. Glad you finally got them hooked up. It's too bad I didn't run into you up there. But we didn't wheel past Spider
and we camped at wentworth the second night.

From what Ive heard thousand dollar hill will be permanently shut down in next few weeks as its not officially a part of the approved trail. Kind of a bummer.

a little pin striping on the rear driveshaft. nothing too bad. if i didnt have my sliders, holy crap that would have been horrible. i did a LOT of strategic sliding. but having my body lines soooo much lower than tj, cj, jk etc makes me want to cut the rockers up like you did. just another thing to do.

i heard that as well. something about letting the trees grow back? idk.

i saw shinobi out there and another grand in his group. yeah, i was hoping to see you the last day, but obviously didnt. i saw they took out a tree and huge rock at the gatekeeper.

I just heard that it wasn't part of the "approved" trail which seems to be about the same reasoning. I saw Kanin and Ron who has the wj on 37's on the way in too. Both of their rigs are awesome.
