That's the truth. You always have to set aside extra time because you ALWAYS run into something. Are you running a 4 link in front or radius arms?

3 link front and 4 link rear with uppers triangulated. probably going to w2001js house to get it welded up. he said he would give me a hand, just need to find some time to do it.

Nice man. Can't wait to see it all done. Are you going to use the stock wj mounts on the axles and run a truss on the rear?

This mount would be awesome for the rear uppers.

That mount is less than ideal. It binds the heims at or near max flex which puts strain on the joint. Horizontal bolts, like normal mounting, is far better.

and then at work today, i measured everything up for the coilover and long arm build. pictures of maybe projected ride height..

at this height, it looks like 40s are gunna do the trick. this is with 5 inches of down travel and 9 inches up travel in the front. the front drivers tire was mostly on the ground. rear tires not even close. ha. ill have to post up the numbers ive come up with within the next few days. its my birthday tomorrow so i see myself babying a hang over. hahahah

and the heims fit nice and snug on the axle side with the iro brass spacers on both sides. just in case anyone is going to build long arms with ruffstuff 1.25 inch heims anytime soon.

Found this...

2 ears destroyed. It caused some nasty drive line vibes. I really don't know how it happened, that's the worst part. I have wheeled in a few months.

They do look very similar

Those mini wheelers are too cool, and look so real.
Who makes yours?

Its an axial wraith kit. I have about 35 hours into it and too much money that I should have put towards the wj.

But its a good time to wheel the mini while im building my wj.

I've been contemplating 40's here lately since I've been trying to talk my buddy into buying 1 tons for his YJ. I can't have my buddy out-do me with a Jeep he got less than 2 months ago.

Only thing I worry about is trying to stuff 40s.
