More HVAC problems

Well, the latest in a string of issues with the HVAC on my 04 grand cherokee is an intermittent failure of the blower fan! I have about a 25 minute drive to work in the morning. During that time, I'll lose the fan probably twice for a few minutes at a time. How do I troubleshoot something that doesn't happen all the time??

The only thing I could think of was seeing there is a relay and replace that. If it was a fuse, it would be all or nothing... Any ideas? Anybody else experienced this? If I can provide any other useful details, let me know.

Thanks!
