Ok, just curious. Do you have a full size spare you bring with you?

Just curious because if you do rocks like that, you have a better chance of slicing a tire that is aired up than is air downed. Don't want you to have to leave your rig on a trail and that might save you.

Ditto John. Make me jealous I'm not wheeling with you, and that we have absolutely no snow...

I dont have a spare, im playing with fire. But today was a good day, never really flexed the tires much. Our trail problems today was the sammys clutch, kept getting burned up. Thank goodness for automatics and 4lo

This is a fun one.. we were all climbing up this firebreaker IV trail, and all of the sudden the sammy went out of commision. So, we had to push it down the trail, which you can see in the left portion of the picture. Well, while we were pushing it down the trail, the driver made a wrong turn and ended up backing up on this hill, so we were pinned. We had to swing to front end around, so we got a come-a-long winch to turn it, and a hi lift to raise it up off the ground so it will swing over.. anyways, that was the position he was in

The ZJ at the entrance of Firebreaker

The sammy, on the Crusher

Stuck again, this time to clutch overheating

Poof

This is a junker Sammy that we met on the trail. Notice I never had a still picture of it until he stopped moving, which was at the top. He was flying at about 5mph through the heavy boulders

Turning around, going back

Stuck again

Thats all of them

I've been on at least one trail as bad as the ones you've shown, short of the crusher. It wasn't rainy or wet either. But it was very dusty and more than my stock ZJ should've been on. But I had to go once I was on the way. No backing out and all. It wasn't so bad, but I had people ahead of me, I was in the rear, and they had no Jeep comrodory or etiquite. They left me in the dust. My sister and her boyfriend kept waiting, but I still was left far behind. I couldn't keep up with Wranglers on 32's. Heck, the Unlimited had lockers, I think. I'm on 245's. LOL The rears were even worn down, and now they're really worn down. Talk about some scary situations. I had no spotter either. I honestly got out of that lucky. I could've taken on a lot of damage. It wasn't a trailer for a stocker. I sat in the Wrangler with my sis and her boyfriend for the next trail. It was REALLY bad.

Thanks for sharing your pics. They're awesome. I want to live in the northwest even more now.
I remember seeing this last spring. YouTube - Jubilee Weekend Run Can't get it to work right now, but maybe it'll work later when you click. I think that's the right vid.
