MoonyJohn's "Project Blue Moon" 2000 WJ

Alright guys, I picked up a new Jeep yesterday and got around to take pictures today. I figured I should start a new build thread. It is a 2000 Limited WJ with 203k miles, but it purrs like a kitten. Recently it has had the radiator, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, brakes and tires replaced. Its almost a new jeep, minus some dirt from not being washed on the underside. Oh, I forgot to mention I got it for 3300

Alright, heres the list of whats on it now but in an index..

Love the color

The guy you got it from already had those tires and 1" spacers installed?

I like those stock wheels and the best part is - they're free.

Yeah, 1" spacers and larger tires, but that was what the original owner did to it. And I think i'm keeping those wheels, and getting wheel spacers. I like the 5 spoke chrome.

I cant really, backing up and turning left I rub really bad. I cant even turn the wheel a half rotation before it starts rubbing gnarly.

I am planning on getting the 4" like you, and keeping my stock tires and wheels (tires will be good for a while, so Im keeping them on).

Selling it It will be sad to see it go, but as long as its in good hands with a fellow jeep lover, then Im 100% ok with it. You guys think I can get 4.5k out of it? I got an offer for 4k cash but I want a little more than that.

Jeeze John. Another ridiculously clean Jeep in your hands! Definitely jealous! I want a Red Overland one day so bad.

Good Luck and keep us updated!

btw - Those tail lights look a bit different. Is it me or they are?

I think you'll deffinately get the 4500 out of the zj,
just wait for the right buyer to come along but at least you're not in a hurry since you have that pretty new wj sitting in your driveway you can drive in the meantime
nice find

Honestly in this market I would take the 4k...ZJ's simply aren't worth that much.

Take the $4k and then your WJ is paid off with money to spare...WIN

Yeah, but an extra 200 would be nice for my title transfer and plates. And then I can perhaps get new mud tires.

But I see what your saying, 4k cash would be very nice to have. And I might not get any more offers, but Im not really in a hurry.
