Moding my WK. What do you think?

I am new here and I did a lot of searching and this forum has popped up on Google a lot so know I'm here.

I have a 2005 WK and here is what I plan to use. Please tell me what you think. If you think I should use anything different, please let me know.

ProComp 2" Lift
Bilstein 5100 Series
245/75-17 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 (stock wheels)

I know the tires are definitely what I want but will the spare fit undeneath?

What do you think about the lift kit and shocks?

There are not a lot of modded WKs on here. I suspect that will eventually change. Maybe you can help lead the way. I lifted a 2002 Ford Explorer once and I had to get custom made coil spring spacers made to accomplish it. It should me much easier to lift a WK. I think it still has a solid axle in the back.

What you have planned sounds like a good start. Is the lift coil spring spacers or something else?

There are actually quite a lot of modded WKs but we are very exclusive and prefer to hang in our own sub-forum. WK & XK Grand Cherokee Forum - JeepForum.com If you post it there you will get a lot more answers.

Thanks for your replies. I decided to go with a 245/70/17 in the BFG Mud Terrain KM2 because it is a bit wider for some reason.

There are a lot of us, actually. You should visit the WK section whenever you get a mo. I'm trying to get the WK build list organized. Our threads are all over the place.

That is a really good idea because it seems they are scattered everywhere
