And my latest low-speed mishap:

Good news is i'm using the 94 to go pick up 4 black 15x8 D-windows with some worn swampers tomorrow!

Nope. Turning around in a parking lot. Perfectly level, nothing in the lot but painted lines. I pulled into a space, threw it in reverse, backed up 4 feet and heard a clattering sound on the concrete. I got out to check it and thats what i saw. The clatter was the center cap being broken away from the mounting screw and flung across the parking lot. I started a thread about it and so far the popular answer has been "ghetto rims". So i guess that leaves it at no explanation whatsoever.

So the 4 procomp rims and swampers got picked up yesterday after i talked the guy down to $150. The rims/tires i went to pick up weren't what the guy described when i went to go look at them. THEY WERE BETTER. I'm in shock that craigslist pulled through for me. Lol.

No update in a while, but I fixed the bend in the driver front rim, repainted it, painted all of the hub centers, repainted the front bumper, put all new rear brake pads/rotors/shoes on, dropped the whips to the taillights, mounted both of my maglites and knife in the hatch area, and got an OBA setup.

So i havent updated in awhile, but i've still been dumping money into the ZJ.

So i ended up just taking off the crappy plastic bumper, and painted the exposed stuff black.

Then i did the whips.

And the stripes.

Oh yeah, and i lightly used some of that nightshade stuff, just enough to make the amber un-obvious.

All before the 35 out back blew the f up.

You know, i always read about how bad the 35 sucked, and i always thought that it wasnt really that bad. Well, i was wrong. I was just slowly driving on pavement when it imploded. So I went for the cheap easy road and ended up swapping the 3.55 axles out of my parts Jeep. 33's on 3.55's BLOWS. But they look clean, which is a plus i guess.

So my new plan for the summer is most likely going to be a long hard search for a 4.10 hp30 and a 4.10 8.8, since i dont want to regear myself and wont pay for it, and i really dont want the pos d35 after the last one i had freaking exploded. Sound like a good plan guys?
