massive miss fire on Cylinder 8

I had a massive miss fire which most mechanics diagnosed over the phone as burned valves and they told me if you check your compression and it is low then your valve burned out doe to LPG. however I checked the compression and because there no prssure I thought probably the Valve stuck wide open so I took the cover off and realised the valve spring has been snapped.
SO I decided to replace it myself. lots of posts suggest to have an air compressor and i did connect it but realised that your stem seal wouldnt let the valve drop if you are careful. so I did replaced stem seal and spring and it should work very well.
