Loud clunk

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I heard a loud clunk under my vehicle today. I could actually feel it, I thought I ran something over and it hit the bottom of the vehicle. Checked in the mirror and even went back to that street, there were only leaves in the street. I was on a residential street and I was only going around 20 MPH, it startled me when it happened. I do notice sometimes when I go to accelerate, the vehicle will hesitate slightly and I would hear a small clunk. It will be going in for an oil change in Oct., should I have it looked at sooner.
