4 Wheeling at Broken Arrow, Sedona, AZ today. Jeep puked (overheated) in the process with the 100 degree temps and slow travel. Serpentine belt is loose and squealing, not sure if fan is engaging properly, have a new project this weekend.

A little flexing:

A nice little hill climb, a Bronco, TJ and XJ all had A LOT of wheelspin going up this, I crawled up with no problems.

Former YJ, WJ and ZJ owner. Sold my ZJ when I PCS'ed to Italy, now just here to dream up what I want on a WK when I get back.

Mall Crawler vs Rock Crawler

Some perspective pics I took with my phone on a grocery run this morning. Note the new KC HiLites in the first pic:

Here it is, can't believe I forgot to post up here.

Stock, when I first bought it (baseline)

So then I threw some sliders, a few skid plates, and a 3" lift on it and decided to go wheeling:

I should have known better than to go wheeling with a locked up Yota w/6" lift and 35" tires, but oh well.

What? There's no size difference at all??

I couldn't get by without a little help from my friends.

Taking a break while some dude in an FJ iirc dealt with his clutch linkage falling apart. Stupid Toyotas!

Taking another break up at the top.

Back home again!

The permanent reminders of that trip:

OK, time to get serious and install that locker.

Testing it out:

And what better thing to do when you've just ripped a stump out than to drive up another big rock?

And certainly it's best to go out wheeling again with a new locker.

You'd think I would have learned, but this time I escaped without body damage.

WHOA! Not gunna do it. I just parked here to get out of the way for some folks coming down. Some dude in iirc a TJ on like 49s went through this thing and nearly flipped. There's NO way I would have made it.

The only guy out of the group who made it up here was in a built Sammy with a locker up front and welded rear.

Here's video of me giving it the ol' college try. I was trying to take the left line, since in the photo above you can see the right line leads to that big stump right in front of me. I didn't hit it.

Attempt 2. I think this was attempt 3 really, but 1 didn't get caught on film. I certainly wasn't lacking in horsepower, just traction. Gotta do something about that front end.

As he sits now, after a couple hours worth of pressure washing and a good wash, ready to do it all again.
