I might end up having to ship it. I'm pretty sure the cost to get it to you would be insane. To New York it was around like $200.

Had my bro do some vinyl work for me:

I really like it a lot and he did a great job. I think it goes with the whole theme of my Jeep a lot better.

In other news, have IRO a-arm and rear lowers waiting to go on. Hopefully front LA's soon.

I really liked the way that turned out! I have been wanting to ditch the wood for a while. What's all involved?

Thanks. He just took his time and used a heat gun to help stretch it around corners. He owned a vinyl wrap business so I didn't bother trying. haha

Well, looks like my Jeep build is going to take a significant step forward here soon. IRO A-arm, rear lowers, and front LA's should be going on within the next couple weeks! I absolutely cannot wait to have long arms!

I thought this thread was dead and locked! Congratulations on the decision to go with long arms. That new baby deserves a soft ride on the trails.

Ha, no kidding. Yeah, it should be nice. Hopefully I'll get to try them out in Moab this year.

Really bringing this back from the dead here but I have a few questions for you! I combed the first 25 pages or so of your build thread and came across your build sheet from Jeep. Looks like you didn't have a factory aux transmission cooler. Is this the actual cooler that came on some 99 WJ with the V8? Or did you re-purpose a 01-04 WJ power steering cooler to function as a tranny cooler? I am very interested in your setup because of the factory look it has. Curious about mounting, hose types, etc...I have a good idea of the piping material used here but also interested in routing. It seems like you go:

Tranny --> Radiator --> Aux cooler --> Tranny.

Thanks, and love the WJ!!

EDIT: Looks like you run a Tru-Cool cooler. Still interested in custom mounting hardware, fluid flow, and pipe routing/materials! Thanks!

Having just gone through a tranny rebuild on my other vehicle I wanted to address this problem ASAP. So yesterday I decided to try and tackle this. I got started at about 9:30 AM and didn't finished until about 10:00 PM. I found that the leak was coming from the outlet towards the top of the radiator (I hope that's the only leak). What I originally did was just put a hose on the bottom of the trans return line from the radiator that routed all the way back up to the trans cooler. I never really liked this and when I saw that there was leak I figured it'd be a good time to improve the install. I originally planned on just putting a barb fitting on the trans outlet on the radiator and then wrapping a hose around to go to the cooler. This plan consumed most my time yesterday. I went to Home Depot, Checker, Lowe's, and True Value trying to find a fitting that would work - all dead ends. I finally tried to modify the fitting a little which worked for the barb fitting I had (that was the closest I could find to a solution) but the barb fitting neck was so shallow only a couple threads could grab onto the rad fitting.
If it weren't for my awesome wife, I don't think I would've go the job done yesterday. While I was out trying to track down fitting options, she tore the bumper, bull bar, and rad skid off the Jeep all by herself!!
Anyway, it looked like the barb fitting was just not going to work. So I thought about it and decided to be a little brave - we went to Harbor Freight and got these:
