Yeah, I see a million WJ's around here, but they are all just stocker grocery runners. Not that mine is any amazing trail rig, but I'm not afraid to do anything that won't break it.

Us UTJeepCrewers need to go run a trail soon!

I have tentative plans to head down to Moab in two weeks. This is partly why I tackled the axle. I didn't want to be down there and have an issue. Not worth the risk when you're out in the middle of nowhere.

Nice! Looks like you're all set with skids, now all you need is a set of sliders!

Where is the best place to get some? So far I haven't really seen any that really grab me.

I'm wanting to do some kind of grill mod with different grill material. Any suggestions/preferences? Anyone done any that you are really satisfied with?

You can get gutter mesh from Home Depot, Lowes,... and do that. Check out TX-WJ build thread for pictures of what he did.

Yeah, that occurred to me. I like it, but I'd prefer a mesh that is just a tad thicker and a little less transparent, you know?

New fogs and a test run

Got a second set of fogs for my b-day and finally got around to wiring them up. We're planning on doing an all-day trail run with some other JF members pretty soon so we went down to some hills by Utah Lake and did some night wheeling to try out the lights and see how the engine temp did at slow speeds (did pretty well). Gosh dang I love this Jeep. It went straight up some very steep inclines without even flinching. There was only one part that I couldn't get over without a locker. So looks like I'm all set for 5-mile!

Overlooking Utah Lake and Utah Valley:

About to go down a very very steep hill:
