Well, just finished the BDS/ Bilstein install. Also installed new wheel bearings, tie rod ends and ball joints. Moog for all except one BJ which was the wrong BJ in the right box... OReillys didn't have a correct Moog so I had to install one Master Pro BJ on upper pass side. At 1/3rd the cost I really doubt it's quality.

Hope I get a year out of it!

The BDS springs seem to handle better than stock and I love the combo with the Addco sway bars. Inspires confidence in corners.

JKS QDs for any medium off roading. I used the rear sway bar bracket trick from KZ instead of longer rear end links.

I drop it off for alignment in the morning.

Thanks guys. Just back from alignment shop. VERY little lean in corners and recovers from the lean very quickly. I still have a little clunking in the front still, but it's improved. Some more in the rear still. Alignment shop suggested the rear sway bar bushings. I'll check this weekend. Addcos front and rear with JKS QD's. I am not convinced the front residual clunking is from the QD's as was the case on Billzcat1's WJ. TBD. At least its better! It was getting annoying. Not so bad now. I do feel it under my drivers side floorboard I think. Makes me think its the control arm. I loosened all the control arms when I put in the springs and tightened upon return to full weight on suspension. I didn't take them OUT to look at the bushings... from the limited I could see I didn't have concern with what I saw.... We'll see. Height between center of rim and fenders are 20.25" front and 21.5" rear. Pass/Drive sides are the same. Here are the alignment specs. Before was just eyeball counting TRE threads alone. Not bad for eyeball. My buddy was pretty good here!

EDIT- 2015 Oct:
It was the control arms!! Slowly working on that now.....

LOL... How's employment over there? I have to visit Scandinavia some time. Half Finish, some say I am half finished!

Anyone know anything about front driveshafts? Clunking is better but not gone with new suspension. I wonder about wear in the front driveshaft?

I just smacked the driveshaft repeatedly and it 'sounds' like the right sound I hear. I may have some looseness in the expansion joint area which is clunking a bit. Wonder if that's it. I have U joints on both ends fwiw.

No, pretty stable logical here. Hard dedicated short broad shoulder worker type. Heard Finns are like that but don't know firsthand.

Looking nice!

I went in to have an alignment done today and expected to get a spec sheet printout. Then afterwards they told me I would have had to ask ahead of time to get them to print it. sigh.

Thanks for comments. I hope to take off front driveshaft tomorrow and see if that is my last clunking area.

Well, I installed some 3/4" poly spacers up front. I had them from my stock Upcountry spring days. The front seemed low compared to the back, so I put them in today. Front only.

Measurements now 20.6" front and 21.75" rear. My garage floor may not be quite level but it should be close.

Spacers lifted front the most but I also seem to have a little increase in rear as well. Maybe it still needs to settle a bit.

I should add this is with half a tank of gas and nothing in the hatch area.

Merry CHRISTmas Eve All!
