If they have a scale in-house then they can weigh it for you, like they do here, if not I'm sure they could give you a rough estimate. You'll just have to go do some talking, as a general note, people like money. If they say you can buy it for $50 tell em you'll give em $60. Just to make friends. That way you can keep coming back over and over. Trust me. You DONT wanna buy the amount of material needed to fab a bumper, prolly woulda cost me $500-$600 to make mine just for material, not to mention welding wire and sanding disks. But it was free because I have connections at work...it's all in who you make friends with.
