I havent see it so I cant say, but I would ask him the more important questions of "how does it run mechanically". saying that it "runs great" is something that can easily be disguised. Ask him what maintenance has been done that merits such a high price.

FYI, Im not trying to be a downer, but I hate to see someone get ripped off.
He's always fixing cars up just to sell them, it's kind of like a hobby for him. I'll ask him more info about it though.

For one this is not my jeep, it's one of my buddies, and for two he fixed the p0351 code a few months ago.

In my post about fixing the jeep I simple stated "I have a jeep" not that I own the jeep. So therefore it is not mine and your argument is not valid, thank you

Do you know this guy? If this is a craigslist ad, walk away. Its just not worth it.

No I do not know him personally. Unfortunately yes it is off Craig's list. Do you know if I could get it for 5k it would be more reasonable?

No 5 grand is not a reasonable price. It's just not worth that. I bet those "halo" lights are the cheap ones from ebay that everyone says to stay away from.

This thread confuses me ...

... first it sounds like you are selling, now it sounds like you are buying.

... I cannot tell whether or not you are talking about multiple Jeeps, particularly when a P0351 code is corrected by a new fuel pump.

The jeep I was going to buy was the jeep that was supposedly fixed by the fuel pump!

anyone who thinks 5 grand is reasonable for any ZJ is high out of their mind. unless its a niner with 5 miles on it.

Reliability is relative

Curious. Can you link to the craigslist ad? I searched and can't find it.

That should be in the sub $3000 category... It's got 200K on it and has aftermarket parts, plus rough country lifts ride harder

2wd zj...

Hmm, interesting I seem to not be able to find it either? Maybe he deleted it after I questioned him about the fuel pump issue
