That is really high on price. I paid 4500 for my 98 5.9 in great condition with 127 on it and came with ten years of maintenance records. You didn't say what motor either.

B_Baity10 06-19-2013 06:19 AM

It's a 4.0L with the inline 6 motor

PolkaPower 06-19-2013 07:04 AM

Well it's also going to depend on where you are and what kind of demand there is for a 4x4. I would shoot for around 3500.

and it might help if you put this in the For Sale Threads and post pictures. i mean hell for 6000 this thing better be immaculate with amazing suspension pieces on it. i have 4in adjustable arms 32s, 31s and stock tires all on rims and ton of spare parts and im asking 5k with a good bit of room to budge

Good Luck

So, you fixed this problem?

Or ... are you just frustrated and this thread is made out of frustration with your Jeep?

B_Baity10 06-19-2013 08:20 AM

Yeah that problem has been fixed

What did it turn out to be?

6000 seems really high. A lot of those "upgrades" are pretty easy to do yourself for far less money overall, especially being the 4.0. That Ipod charging tray has be be at least $500 though, right?

Ask them why they are selling it. If a Jeep is in that good of condition that he thinks its worth 6000, then no sane person would ever let it go.

B_Baity10 06-19-2013 09:26 AM

The head lights taillights radio and speakers alone where over $1,000 not counting the wheels and tires on it.

He said he would talk $5,000 at the least, but he just wants something newer that's why he's selling it

PolkaPower 06-19-2013 09:28 AM

You can't put a bunch of aftermarket parts on a vehicle and expect to get back what you paid for them when selling it. Maybe a little if it suits the buyer. More of a niche since most people like to customize on their own to suit their needs.

Where is the Jeep located and lets see some pictures.

So you fixed the p0351 code with a new fuel pump and then immediately listed it for sale?

AaronButler 06-19-2013 09:35 AM

puts $X000 dollars into "cool" upgrades to make his ride more appealing... then sells because he wants something newer. Something sounds fishy. Why spend all that money and then just turn around and sell it. I would offer no more than 4k. Beyond that, I think hes trying to pull a fast one. I havent see it so I cant say, but I would ask him the more important questions of "how does it run mechanically". saying that it "runs great" is something that can easily be disguised. Ask him what maintenance has been done that merits such a high price.

FYI, Im not trying to be a downer, but I hate to see someone get ripped off.
