Test drove a 03 Overland 2.7 CRD for my first time today, what a POS, engine is noisy and tractor feelish, great lack of power vs the V8.
Deff a no Go, even for the x.

Found this 04 HO for my ex girlfriend, http://m.finn.no/car/used/ad.html?fi...=2143&make=776 low millage, full service History, previous owner spent a huge pile of $ on repairs'n upgrades

What you guys think???

@Kolak, she will need a 3" Kolak exhaust, and a superchip, she also wish for some bad *** wheels,

Looks good man!

I bet that 2.7 diesel was still smoother and had more get up and go than the 4.0! LOL

I dont think so, the 4.0 in my friends ZJ, are deff smoother and stronger,

The last 2 days we did a 1300km ~ 800 miles roadtrip from Oslo>Bergen>Egersund>Oslo thrue the mountains of west and south coast Norway to look at a couple of WJ's.
My Jeep did great, handling thrue curves like a dream, 1.34l/10km ~ 21mpg average aint to bad in curvy mountain roads with lift and tires taken into consideration.

Unfortunatly the "perfect" Jeep in bergen had been in a crash in left front corner, broken headlight support and repairs Been done but not 100%, this was an easy Fix, but cost money, and the seller wouldnt drop a penny.
Also missing Caro cover, rear seat Mats, and driver seat was really weared out.
But the thing That conserned me most was the 4lo, after i put it back in hi, we had some squeking sound coming from under the Jeep.

Since we first was in this part of the country we desided to Go to Egersund to look at one more WJ, big dissapointment That one to, steep price and too many problems/costs to Get a Nice Jeep.

So the search for a nice and good condition WJ for the x will continue.

I bet finding a good one over there would be REALLY tough. They are a dime a dozen here, I probably see 20 everyday just driving to work, but they are old enough now finding a good one here is not real easy either. Harder for you no doubt.

^^^Right on mr, they Are hard to find.
i dont worry if there are some issues and imperfections as long as it is reflected in the price,,, and there Are no rust, engine/trans/drivetrain issues, that Are more costly to fix, preferably whitout body damages to,,,,

Thanks a million to champ926!!!
Who offered to sell me a used rear housing for my broken 247 transfer case

Next plan, pull t case, split, reassembly, remount.
Then i finally Get the chance to change/top off fluid.

Anything Ells i should replace, while at it???

Will be Good to have this done asap

Found a as perfect as possible 99 GC limted 4.7 low Output, seller listed add under cherokee not Grand cherokee and have no info and only couple very small pics, so add look very simple and Are hard to find.

Pro's, the Jeep have 2 pre owners, seller had it for one year, old guy had it since new before that.
Full service History, only 150k km, newly serviced, NO shopping bumbs!, NO rust!, Jeep have always been parked inside!!!,
Body, paint and interior are VERY Nice,
Graphite Gray Pearl Metallic Clearcoat, Agate interior.
No OBD2 or climate codes.
Cobra 3" OEM grill guard and Rocker guards!!!

Fan Are covered from pre Work guarantie, he also offered to check poss to sort out the seat motor.

Draw backs, some play in steering/front suspension, minor brake pulse, Electric fan does not operate, front up/down driver seat motor out of function, and offcourse heated seats, tires abit old, need new summers and winters,

What needs done, rust protection, new brakes, exhaust'n tuner, billys, rear swaybar, wheels'n tires, Tint Windows, something/whatever with wood interior,,,
and then she will have a great Nice Jeep too.

Offered them a "lowball" bid, we will see if they axcept that or if we might raise the bid alitte.
