That OBA setup is sweet. You gonna get a motor for it?

That my friend is where the challenge lies, I have a 5.2 and am working on either the york setup or i might try to make space for a High output 12v under the hood....I am still looking for ideas, but it does hold air which is nice.

Can't wait to get started, but my wallet can......

Doesnt that york setup take your air compressor out?? You have a site for that york setup. Im in the same boat as you are with not being able to setup a shop anywhere so OBA is looking better and better.

What if you just found a small electric style and set it in your box in the back (if you have room) and just make run some wire/inverter (depending on motor type) back to it?

Ya I have looked at the (Vivair)? 12v but I think there may be a place on the front drivers side for a york....it will take some ingenuity but i wanna try to get it. Also I really don't want to lose my AC so i am still exploring options

I was thinking of doing the fire extinguisher swap X2 or a propane swap with a viair to start. With the viair i was planning on doing so i can run of the battery and then also have a connection for an outlet when at home.

Got the new roofrack done

Went from this

to this that I designed a couple of months ago....Kinda KORish

Welded and some bondo to fill in some divots and dents. smooth it down and prep for paint.

Paint & wiring

Built an Air dam, because when I first test drove...the wind whistled really loud through the grating....I think it will work

I hurried when I was making it at home So I put it together in like 4 hours... The whole measure twice thing didn't happen, heck some spots didn't even get measured once....

If I do it again... I will definitely take much more time building it....though I am still very pleased with it.... go ahead...make some comments.

Close up

On the jeep and some poser/pretty pictures.

The new rack looks good, I think that the fairing could look better if it were curved to match the roof. The grill guard also looks good, especially for being home made. I think where it wraps around the side by the headlights would match the vehicle better if it were squared off more. Its a boxy vehicle, but the guard is very round there.
