My dad was listening to a local radio talk show on the way home last night. They were taking calls about people doing good deeds and helping others during that storm. Apparently someone called in and was telling them the story of us at that racetrac. So that was pretty neat.

My brother and I were out for six hours straight pulling cars. This was taken at a gas station, after we cleared all the cars, this semi decided to leave...
i hope you at least got some free gas from that tanker because V8 + all that spinning = half tanked used

good job though, very impressive.

I couldn't understand why the TT tires weren't spinning at all??

I was driving to the ATL airport from Chattanooga in that storm and my ZJ and it took 9 hours! If I hadn't brought the ZJ, I would have never made it. I was driving across parking lot divider, down sidewalks, over medians and even ran a police roadblock (from the opposite direction they were trying to block). The night was nuts. I had never been happier with a vehicles performance in my life.

Oh I don't know, I'd be a little worried if it was mine, or at least check diff's and tc fluid just to be on the safe side

I wouldn't worry.. dhaving done quite a few wheeling trips doing a couple hours of full- blast deep-snow wheeling with the niner, using 3/4 tank of fuel and driving only about 10 miles during all that, both diff fluids & TC fluid always has looked like new. That kind of stuff (including pulling a 18- wheeler in that video) doesn't actually cause that much strain at all because you're not putting a whole lot of force on the ground due to tires spinning most of the time.

It's pretty amazing what a couple more tires pulling can do even though they are spinning. Now, let's think how easy that would've been with studded winter tires
