Thanks guys.

I'm debating changing the wheels over to black, I keep going back and forth?

I got some time in on the Jeep yesterday, brakes all around, tires rotated and new plugs & wires.

I alos found a few shots of the trimming I did to get the front bumper to mount up.

My roasted parking brake shoes:

Back together;

The lift should happen this weekend as long as my Crawler Ready 1" spring spacers show up.

Thats awesome manm James does great work. FYI the holes in the front D ring tabs on mine were drilled to 3/4" I had to open them to 1" to accept my 3/4T standard size D rings.

Did you go with the regular version or the higher clearance?

I've got a pieced together RE/Claytons 3.5" spring 1" spacer.

It should be alot lower than my last rig....

When it sold; 2000XJ 63K miles, auto, 231, 8 point custom interior cage 1.75, HPD44 5:13's, 1 ton steering, 9" 5:13's detroit custom disc brakes, RK 3 link front, about 8.5" of lift (wayyyyy to much), painted to match bushwackers. Probably more but y'all know how that goes plus it was 4-5 years ago.

Been lacking the updates for a while now.

Since my lift the Jeep needs an alignment with the Holidays, several family birthdays etc.... we took Dad's Chevy out to URE for the first time today.

At least its wheel'n related photos.

Today was the first snow of the season here in the Piedmont area of NC. I had the Jeep out for the first time in close to a month since installing the lift. I still have a few things to finish up;

-4 wheel alignment
-front sway bar disco's
-install new A/C compressor (clutch locked up on original one)

Here are a couple crappy photos, I'll upload some better ones tomorrow.

Next to the WRX,

I have almost two weeks off from the family business over Christmas and New Years, that will leave plenty of time for the 231 swap. Then off to Callalantee in January with Pops.

Well if you like burning money you can get a 4 wheel alignment, but I assure you, the back is not out of alignment.

If his rear control arms are adjustable, he should get a 4 wheel alignment. They can measure out the rear to see if it is square or not. A good alignment shop will adjust the control arms to align everything correctly
