Sorry for the poor cell phone shots, they won't all be this terrible.
This is how she spent her first four years as my wife and I's DD.
Fast forward to May '10 and I picked up the set of 5 JK Moabs/ BFG Mt takeoffs for $300, 75% tread!
Then around the same time I got up with James of RLC on Pirate and ordered on of his "higher clearance" front winch bumpers.
Now you need a winch, lol
says he has a warn 9.5ti
could you post some more pics/ different angles of your front bumper:thumbsup:
zjzach, I'll get some this afternoon and throw them up.
Here are a few more overall shots, I'm hoping to use this thread to show the transition from stock.
I have the 9.5ti sitting on my work bench waiting for new solenoids, I should have it back on by the end of the week. Time is hard to come by with a 9month old and a family business!
Here are a few better pictures of the front bumper, I had to do a lot of trimming to allow the bumper to sit in place. I also still need to relocate my charcoal canister.
time to trim your fenders! looks good though man!
I like it. I always liked the Chargold ZJ's.
paint that cladding black or take it off!
To each his own I guess! I could never do that I think the color matched cladding keeps it looking clean.
I ordered a set of cheapo hyrdo shocks today, now I'm down to needing disconnects before I can get this lift installed. There is a local place I'll be having my brake lines made shouldnt run more than $40.
I plan to have the lift on and transfercase swapped by Thanksgiving since I've got an annual hunting trip planned to PA.
Any one selling a set of used discos?
:2thumbsup:I got my Warn reassembled and wired up this afternoon with my new rope. I plan to get on the bumper this weekend along with some routine maintence.
Not a whole lot to update but I did get my winch installed and wired up. I also cut new sandwhich plates for the front bumper and stitched them on. In total its held on with 12 grade 8 bolts. I am a little worried that it leaves the radiator support exposed, I need to figure something out there.
We've been busy at work finished two cars for SEMA which is the week after next. Once those cars hit the road I'll be able to get the Jeep on the lift and get all of my suspension parts installed! Even though its our family business customers come first.....:rtft:
I did get my shocks in though, however my to-do list keeps growing...
UJoint D30 shafts
Rustys Intake tube
Fab second Optima Yellowtop mount in existing airbox location
mount CO2 in hatch
Thats one of the cleanest zj's I have ever seen. That front bumper looks sweet
