attempted 200 miles..

made it 20. just too much tongue weight.. could not get rid of the "sway"

This pic is 4 months old.. i had just gotten the trailer.. I've learned alot since.. The only towing i do lately is with a 1-ton diesel (550hp Twin turbo cummins)

Trailer still looks way to short but I would have tried that first.

trailer is too short.. trailer weighs 2300lbs unloaded.. jeep was loaded so i guestimate that load at about 7800lbs... plus the jeep was loaded with 3 adults and camp gear.. GCVW was somewhere around 14,000lbs

could of killed many people that day....

Why...not have someone drive the other Jeep? That looks like it was sketchy from the beginning.

sketchy? how is that sketchy? Having a bad case of the Chits with only half a roll of toilet paper, is "sketchy"

This is more then that.. this was "scary" and no, there was Zero sense and logic here..

Now, if your asking what the "motive" was, It was to save fuel.. we figured my jeep getting 7mpg was better then two rigs getting 13mpg while having a trailer incase one of the rigs "broke" during the camping/wheeling trip..

If this was a thread of common sense, I would of posted it in the "what do you use for towing" thread
