01 laredo 4.0 208k original motor abd trans just broke the transfer case

Got an 04 with 136,000 and just purchased a 2000 model with 195,000 on it but it has a bad engine noise. Sounds like a broke piston, got to start getting it apart when it gets warmer and get it going!! Both are 4.0 engines!!

My 1999 has 240,6XX miles original as far as I know. I've had it since 141,4XX and the main thing I had to replace was the rear axle.

Cousin has a 2001 with 180,XXX

and my aunt has a 1999 with 118,XXX
