How to make my zj louder?

Hi guys. I have a 97 zj with a flowmaster 40 series and the tailpipe on. It's not that loud at all. It's a bit louder than stock? What can I do to make it louder?!! Different muffler? Anything? Open to suggestions.. Thank you..

Just cut the muffler off and route the tailpipe into the cab.

I have a 40 series on mine, but what made it louder was the combination of muffler and cold (warm) air intake. I don't think its that loud and I like the mellow rumble.

Edit: forgot to mention how to make it louder... I ran mine without a muffler for a couple of days while I waited on my current muffler... It sounded like an old farm tractor and was very loud. Try that lol.

I have a 40 with a high flow cat that's probably hollow now anyway and ppl say they can hear me across campus when I'm driven around. My campus is pretty small but it's about a mile or so to the furthest point. I have to yell inside for ppl to hear me too. Also to make mine louder I put my foot to the floor.

Mine used to be louder before I put the tailpipe on. Now that I put the pipe on its not as loud. But it took off to much back pressure.

glass pack. it'll piss off your neighbours, piss off everyone around and more importantly.......... it'll pisss you off in about a month when you can't drive with your windows down or hear your music because your jeep sounds like a friggin' redneck rocketship just taking off from a light.

sorry i forgot to mention.......... no it won't sound 'good' either.
