If you want alot of HP, go get yourself a 5.9. Until then if you dont have the money to regear and do major engine work your S.O.L.

Nothing for hp or anything that you would notice.

nos, propane, methane, lol

do the big tanks! burn some holes in them pistons!!!!

seriously though. if youre looking to "bolt on" horsepower there is only so far you can go. if you want to take it to the strip then buy a built, printed motor.

go to the speedfreaks.net like i said and just READ.....when asking a question of "how do i make it go faster?" its too general. if you want a general question then give some parameters...."I want to make it go faster and i have $1000 to spend, what do I do?" is a good way to ask but dont forget to say what you have already done such as headers on back exhaust and cold air. that way the person responding can tailor the question to your needs and their opinions.

also JU has some some good writeups in the performance section

horsepower costs money.

no money = no vroom

kolak listed off exactly what you can do and need to do. no black magic or smoke and mirrors, thats what you gotta do to get the 5.2 moving.

head over to thespeedfreaks.net
I'm a member over there. There are some really fast ZJs on there. Yes, fast. There's one that runs a 10.08 on nitrous. Come over there and we'll help steer you in the write direction. Over here is more offroad related. You'll find better info regarding engines and power over there because that is more of what the forum is directed towards.

I'll offer some input. It really depends on the budget you have.

to start, go with an exhaust, headers, intake, and reflashed ECU. From there you can move to an M1 intake manifold (or port the stock manifold instead if you want - thats what I did), bigger Throttle body, heads, cam, 1.7 rockers, etc. Like I said, all depends on your budget.

I really do think you should compartmentalize the thoughts about your project and think of one thing at a time.

What's your initial budget? If you give me some idea of what you'd like to invest in your Jeep initially, it will be simple to suggest what's going to be the best bang for your buck.

^^^^X2^^^^ Alot of awesome info there. Mostly 5.9 but 99% of it will pretain to the 5.2 as well. Ohh yea and Kolak is the man! I have been picking in brain about a exhaust setup for a few weeks now............guess I need to go ahead and get it lol.
