i was reading a thread and saw that the 318 can be a fire breather with the right mods cause it is so handicapped by air restriction.

Could anyone give me a list of the mods i can do to make my 5.2 to make it breath fire. Thanks

its not going to go fast lol. if you want your engine breath better, here some basic, cold air intake, header, full exhault system. doing all that before getting into port head....anyway I dont think you going to need do anything to the engine, do above, if you love speed and tear up street get cobra or camaro

It needs more than an intake and exhaust to get rid of the air flow restrictions.

porting and polishing the head. cold air intake(be careful if going through water/mud, dont wana hydrolock) headers, exhaust system...injectors...

but then youll have trouble with the ecu!!

just get a cold air intake and headers, exhaust..if u really wana do sumthing but youll be gettin flamed for using a cold air intake.forum members are poons about em

as of right now i have header back exhaust system and cold air intake. How would i go about the injectors?

u want this jeep running faster ? you want to race ? or you want power for offroad ? 1/4 miles ? what is your goal ? remember you driving a v8 doest not mean you can be racing lol. buy something else that design for racing.

my ultimate goal is more power off road like to get through thick mud and stuff if its fast that would be a bonus but i am aiming for more off road power and torch.
