Ditto, wife hit two deer with her car, showed nothing. I guess unless everyone reports, no real advantage to getting a carfax or any other report for 30 bucks. Maybe only applies to repairs done at the dealer, not sure.

Auto checks only show information that us reported . My zj has been in accidents before but I never reported them. If your reports from this link are anything like mine then you should see that some places or registration don't even show miliage because I know when I register my jeep yearly I never have to include the miles so it seems from when I viewed mine the miles were only documented when the title changed owners. I fully believe the report for mine and I also used it on my gf's car and my dads truck which he has owned since new and I believe both of those as well.

This is the history for my 1993 (well, 1992 as it turns out!) 4.0L - it's short because it was exported from the USA in 1997.

I don't know how vehicle registration works in the USA, but should there have been renewals in 1993, 94 and 95?

The two impact damage reports are interesting. Did it really have separate accidents on the 1st and 4th March 1996? Since the case numbers are given, is there any way I could look up the details online?

From 1993 to 1998 it was in Colorado, from 1998 to 2004 it was in California. From there its been in Ohio since.

Rust free in Ohio is great though. Mileage is a little higher than the 125K that I thought it had but at least 3000 of it is driving across the country. Who knows how many times it went from ohio to cali though.

Yeah, I thought so too. I have family there. A lot of people lift their trucks, mostly Toyota from what I have seen.

I think it's handy. It will not show unreported accidents. My ZJ had 3. I found evidence of at least one. I am the third owner. It was sold new in NY.

My old 89 XJ: it came from all over CO. It had only 56k on it in 95 and ended up with a salvage title. 2 years later it had put on 70K. When it came to MN the salvage was wiped. I knew it had been rolled by the Bondo in the top of the door frames. No number or owners listed.

Rich - were the accidents all reported to the police? Have insurance claims? If not, that may be why they aren't showing up on AutoCheck. (Mine scored a 31 - 8th owner...)
