High Altitude 17?

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your time and feedback. I currently have a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk fully loaded that Chrysler is buying back because of the horrific tranny. I hope I have a better experience this time around. I was ready to place a factory order for the Grand Cherokee High Altitude, but realized even with the advanced technology package, there is no lane departure/assist or the parallel and perpendicular park assist. The park assist doesn't bother me because I don't use it but the lane departure/assist I love. I can not believe that Chrysler still doesn't have this technology on their newest(16) top-of-the line($) trucks. I see those features are going to be available on 17's but does anyone know if the High Altitude will still be made in 17? And is that technology going to available to all trims or just the Summit? I ask because on their website when you click on limited editions, the high altitude is listed as one. So I would like to know if I should get the 16 GC High Altitude without the technology because it wont be in production in 17, or can I wait a few months for the 17 with the technology?

I doubt there's any information about 2017 trim packages out there, but if the website says it's a limited edition it's probably not going to be on 2017 models. Not sure why you need the Jeep to tell you you're not in your lane instead of just paying attention.

I agree.. Park and Lane assist seems rather un-jeep like.. just get the High Alt, they are solid models.
