Help can't find sensor anywhere for ZJ

Hello all,

Please if you have parts of 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited, please help:

Parts needed-
Coolant temp sensor (well the book says lower hose)-I have pics
I can't find this sensor anywhere on the net or stores, they said it was D/C and now I'm desperate.

I also need the Computer for the jeep and front driver side Axle.

Or it can just be I need a really good mechanic that knows about these Jeeps

here is the link to see pics thanks http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/1236618455.html
Thanks!!!

Ok, I've got two part numbers for you for the coolant temp sensor, WT3026, and TS82261. They are both from Kragen/O'riely. Send me a message if you still can't get a hold of the parts. Oh, and as far as the computer, they can't get one, so it might be a dealer item only.

The coolant sensor is in the coolant reservoir, its not the engine coolant sensor. Mine was saying the same thing in the dash and I looked forever until the guy at the parts store told me that the computer in the dash doesn't throw engine codes.

98 5.9 has an electric fan with coolant temp sensor in the rad hose that controls the fan only.

If your vic is giving you an error message "coolant temp sensor" this is almost always related to the one in the reservoir. replacing or ensuring a good connection with the sensor wires will fix the problem.
