Not really lol. He only wanted to sell his zj because he found a tj he wanted. After he sold his zj the guy told him he sold the tj lol.
My dad goes threw jeeps like mad. If i didnt buy the dub he was. No matter what it was joining the family!
So far im liking it but the gf looooooves it. Shes crazy about all the bells and whistles. I love the power but im realizing its a thirsty girl. Or mabe my foots to heavy lmao. I know i really have to watch my speed. Its so freaking weird going from my heavyarse 4.0 powers swamper rolling zj to the light weight nimble wj. Its like a car.

Going a little lighter on the skinny pedal wouldn't hurt haha. Any idea what you're averaging in it? I have a close family friend who owns a 99 with the 4.7, and it seems to like chugging fuel, more so than my niner

Im not positive. I havent filled the tank yet or emailed for the build sheet. Gas is $4.00 a gallon. I put in $30 when the low light was on, it gave me a hair over a half. So about 14-15 gallon tank?
Alpha's his name.
Also anyone notice anything wrong in the bottom pic?

Even with all the excitement today i manage to get the front axle striped. Tomorrow im either putting in the axle or helping my dad put a tranny in his xj.

Im i crazy for looking at dub lifts?
The more i drive it the more i like it but it blows having to go pick up the zj when i want to hit dirt.
Also found out it has varilock axles. Buddy mine hydro'd so i pulled him out as dead weight. 5.7 didnt even flinch at it.
Im just thinking a 2" bb with either 265/70's or 255/70's. Sumthing along the lines of a bfg or duratrac. The car tires on it are useless to me.

I can pick up a hp30 for $100 so i think il go that route. Im 99% positive il never go bigger then 33"s but if i do it wont be DD'd anymore.
My stock gearing is 3.55. The axles i plan on regearing are v8 axles with 3.73's. My idea was just swap them and live with the 3.73's but the more i think about it it would be money well spent to regear.

My old setup was like that, although I usually daily'd the 32's. 35's on 4.10's was tolerable but definitely not ideal for any hilly areas. 42RE was constantly hunting for the right gear.
