Bumper looks great. What kind of paint and clear did you use? I know what problem you're having - I had the same issue with the hood of my Subaru. I was just curious if you used the same paint.

idle air control valve. with the engine idling does it respond properly when you rev it? and just idles like crap without you revving it i'd look into the IAC instead. that was causing my poor idle. engine would respond to my foot normally but as soon as i let off the gas it'd either die or idle extremely low

X2 on the IAC. I had the same problems purp is describing. Looks like you're off to a great start. You basically stole it from that guy. I might have to have you give me your friends contact info for future reference. Not sure if you're still interested or not but I still have that FM 50 if you want it. Im going to be posting it up on GL4x4 and craigslist later today.

I figured as much but thought I would ask since I knew you wanted it before.
I picked up a set of JCR stage 2 sliders from toomuchtalk on great lakes for $120. I had to buy the bolt kit and have them sand blasted though. Pics are on my build thread.

At work, just went to go get dinner and the f'er wouldnt start again!
For sum reason the old owner pulled all the domelight bulbs. I havent botherd with it because it hasnt caused a problem till now. The key ring stays lite all the time and my key fob wont lock the doors or arm the security system.
I just pulled the fuse. Hopefully it dosnt die again.

I'd check all the fuses in the main box, yeah. And I think you might have a fuel pump issue. It's all one module in the tank, and I had that issue with starting/idling. The check valve that keeps fuel to the rail when the Jeep is shut off was bad. So the fuel would all drain back to the tank, and it'd have to pump and pump to get fuel to the rail to start. If I didn't keep on the ignition for long enough, it'd stumble and idle roughly and die. So often I was flooding the engine with fuel because it couldn't get it right off. What a PITA. I ended up replacing so much before I finally figured out it was that. Jeep should be sued for such a moronic setup. The entire assembly in the tank, one unit, is quite pricey. I'd get one from Kolak if that's your problem. Just turn the key to the aux setting, wait to hear the hum of the fuel pump, turn back off, repeat twice, and then turn to full ignition. If it starts without issue or less issue that's probably the problem. Anyway, it seems most auto builders do this all-in-one pump/filter/checkvalve assembly these days. So we're stuck with this idiotic mess.
