Good setup. especially if you can grab an hp30 from an XJ with the 4 banger so it'll have 4.10s too. no regearing necessary.

Dude, seriously.... You just slapped rocker covers over all that rust??
I mean it's your rig do what you like but dealing with that properly would be priority #1 for me.
You picked up a nice ZJ for $500, would suck to have it literally eaten away!

just went out and snapped sum pics of the boatsides im going with. when my buddy gets home il take sum pics with the doors open cuz its hard to explain.
so like i said, im really know worried about the rust i have because its all going bye bye!
the thing i really like about this setup is he plates from the pipe to the unibody with 1/8" plate but also runs a piece of angle iron down the unibody. with the 9'er he kept the stock crossmember but im paying a bit extra to do a belly skid.

just tryin to come up with the cleanest looking solution. along with finding the funds. over the summer i dropped and good 3-4K into the jeep in upgrades and replacement parts. most of which are yet to be put on haha. still want to build a rear bumper but i'll have to BB the **** outta the rear or get new springs. they sag a good amount right now

i know what ya mean about finding a clean look. Im really happy with the way my friend dose it. The round pipe is so fitting for zjs. As to dropping money im afraid to admit how much ive dropped in the past 3 weeks on this jeep.
My rear bumpers going on in the morning! Gotta get sum sleep cuz i have to be up early!
