@MGDWJ.... I trail guide a couple of events there every year, & I'm setup for a recovery. Worse case scenario, I'll have my F250 there too.
@DeansWings...I'm trailering mine one way or another, don't know if I'm taking my RV or not. Depends on who all goes with me from Waco area.

Same here. It would be a long drive back to fort worth with something broken

I've never broke anything major there, did have to pull the front shaft to drive back once. But after snapping 2 axles @ Bridgeport, & changing them on the trail in 100 degree weather, I invested in a pull rig and trailer. I have a spare set of D35 axles I'll bring in case someone needs one. Recommend bringing spare U-joints, hub assembly, those are about the only things I see break @ HF.

I already have a spare 35 shaft, u joints, hub, ball joints, c clip, etc... I'm just paranoid cause I hate being stranded.

When are y'all thinking about trying to be at the park on Friday or are we meeting there on Saturday instead?

I'm planning on coming first thing Saturday morning. Don't think I could afford two nights lodging. It's about 3 hours if I recall, so I was gonna try to leave here by 6 to be there by 9

we are planning on getting to the hotel friday night. probably about 9 pm (depending on how many times she has to pee) and finding a little hole in the wall to get some grub.

I should be @ the park Fri night, now that I only have a 2 hr drive instead of the 5 hr drive that I use to have. I'll have a gate code if there is anyone that is camping at the park that gets there after the gates are closed.
@MGDWJ....I don't have any 60 parts.

I think i might actually be able to make it. it depends on a couple things but its looking very possible.

as far as spare parts go..if worst comes to worse, I have enough spare parts to replace the front end of 2 grands suspension-wise. Even a full axle assembly with new seals and jball joints. I would literally thank anyone that takes some of these things off my hands so if anyone is needing to replace something before going out on the trails...PLEASE

do anyone know if they allow dogs at HF? My dog loves going out on the trails...or anything involving the jeeo really.

I'm in need of a good axle. Your assembly in working order? Doesn't happen to be a qudra drive axle?
Pm me the details if you'd like.
