Well the two biggest time-frames are spring vs. fall. So let's narrow it down between the two and then we can start hammering down month, day, hour minute second.

So I'm for late fall as I have some trips planned this winter and will need a bit to build funds back up.

To keep this easy, as you vote state the running total as such:

Fall-1
Spring-0

'96 ZJ 4.0 NP242 5.5" Iron Rock Off Road Critical Path Long Arm sitting on 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Duratracs

'06 WK 3.7 2wd stock as a rock.

Was told Saturday we are supposed to be house/dog watching the mother inlaws house the weekend of the 15th.
Was none to happy to find that out, but I may try to slip away still.

it would be easier if cnolenwj created a poll on the top..

I sat spring just so everyone will be able to plan around that date and not have it rushed, like the first weekend in February. I just feel that if its this fall then people will think of it as more of a i will go if I can and if not oh well rather than an actual planned and organized event such as grand slam west which, really, is what we all aspire to recreate.

I just heard back from clayton walters and he is willing to help out with prizes. He just needs a date for the event. I vote for the fall of 2013 as well.

Fall next year, not this fall. We are just doing a "pre-run" on the weekend of December 15 this year.

Is the Dec. run still open to all vehicle? Is the event going to be grands only, or include XJ's ?

I believe the consensus was emphasized towards unibody jeeps, but I personally wouldn't care if a Wrangler or two showed up.

Super excited about the trip in December. I had the girlfriend take half a day on Friday so we can drive down. She doesnt know it yet but I'm planning on proposing while we are down there.
