Baby sledge + ill placed finger = your neighbors hearing a grown man scream & cuss like a sailor.
Shattered the tip of my index finger trying to get a broken pinion shaft out of a GNX rearend.

Analysis of safety procedure: Do not get in a hurry! Always use the right tool for the task at hand! Always be aware of pinch/caught in between points!
Just kidding that really sucks. One of my employees did that to me once.
We were breaking loose a hammer union I told him that was good, and as soon as i put my hands on it to unscrew it he hit it again. Got my index finger right at the first joint. It took everything i had not to do the same to him.

Bump, anyone have a change of heart for this Weekend? I've been soliciting to all the Texas offroad forums I could find, still no bites.

I really wish I could, especially since my sister-in-law is coming to town. But, I can't. I am definitely going to the main event though.

Nothing helps overcome being sick like a full day of wheeling.

This is very true. And If I could come up with the cash and enough courage to drive 6hrs to and from on my dying axle it could be a possibility.
I sure managed to rack up a good medical bill today. Not having insurance sucks

Hope to have axle fixed and a set of rear adjustable control arms by next month, with a little help from my bank.

So, what's the thoughts on another run around April?
