You may enter your Jeep in the Grand Cherokee of the Month Contest if your entry meets the following requirements. If your entry does not meet the requirements below it will be rejected. The following rules and guidelines are subject to change so please check back each month for updates.

Submission Rules and Guidelines

Anyone with a ZJ, WJ, or WK is allowed to enter this contest if they have been a member for at least 30 days and have a minimum of 50 technical posts. However, not every jeep that is submitted will make it to the final poll. Contestants will be chosen based on level of modification to the jeep, and member participation in the forum. There are two spots available for ZJ’s and two for WJ’s, one spot is also available for a WK if one should submit.

On the 15th of each month I will create a thread titled “Enter your Jeep in the (Current Month) GCOTM Contest.” This thread will be a sticky at the top of the Grand Cherokee General Discussion Sub-Forum. The thread will last from the 15th to the 22nd for a total of 7 days. The voting thread will begin on the 24th of each month titled “Vote for the (Current Month) GCOTM!” This thread will last until the last day of the month and the winner will be declared on the first.

3. Three pictures of your Jeep. Please make sure these pictures can be linked to JeepForum.com. Most people use Photobucket.com to host their images. Use the “IMG Code” at the bottom of the four links to select from.

Should you win the contest you will not be able to submit a new entry for a total of 12 months from the time you won. You will have your own thread throughout the month you won, you will be featured in the Past Grand Cherokee of the Month Winners Thread and may also be fortunate enough to win a prize from one of our great vendors.

Voting Rules and Guidelines

If your entry makes it to the final poll you have one opportunity to vote for yourself if you choose to do so. If you are found cheating in anyway you will be disqualified from the contest and never be allowed to enter again, in some cases you may also be banned. The following would be considered cheating.

1. Making multiple accounts to vote for yourself.
2. Asking you friends to make multiple accounts to vote for you.
3. Asking your friends to register on JeepForum.com so they can vote for you.
4. Promoting your entry on any other website asking people to vote for you. This includes threads, signatures, or anything hinting at the fact that you are competing.
5. Posts or threads anywhere within JeepForum.com asking for votes.

The only advertising you are allowed to do for yourself is in your JF signature but please do so in a tasteful way. We don’t want to see some huge red sig in the biggest font, just keep it in line with other JF signatures. Basically this contest is not “see who can go out and ask for the most votes,” it’s for the Grand Cherokee owners of JF to decide.

Please do not post extra pictures in the voting thread, there is a reason for the two picture limit.

In the event of a tie a new poll will be created with the contestants that are tied. This poll will last for 1 day where the winner will be decided.
