Grand Cherokee abbreviations - ZJ , WJ, WK & XK??

ZJ , WJ, WK & XK what in God's name do all of these abbreviations mean??

I am sure there are a bunch of you L'ing O.L. right now but I have no clue honestly.

Just model designations. Companies do that for simplicity I guess. I know Honda does the same thing (EK, EG, DC, FD, etc.).
