Decided to take the old Wrangle skid plate off the WJ and build a new one. Found a little mud up on it. It served its purpose for 7 years and was free to start with.

Found lots of mud after the last wheeling trip.

Also went to a offroad event on sat and won this in their raffle.

That's quite a bit of mud! I found about 1/2 that in my fuel tank skid last time I pulled it. Sweet deal on the winch!

Yeah I found a lot of mud in my tank skid too when I did my tank lift. Dont know what I'm gunna do with the winch. Got one on the front already. Probably gunna throw it up for sale. Would be nice to have one for the back to though.

Was gunna throw it up on craigslist for $300. I saw online right now you can get them $300 with free shipping. So I figured I start there. I think shipping would be up there it is pretty damn heavy. I'll keep you in mind if it doesn't sell locally.

Got tired of looking at the bare spots under the headlights where I trimmed the bumper. So I made a couple pieces to cover it up. Cut a piece of sheet metal to bolt on first then bent and cut some scrap tube to finish it off.

Before...

sheet metal on...

tube on...

Started plating the bottom of the Jeep. Got to play with the plasma too. Started with the space between the uniframe and the pinch seam. Just gotta paint it now.

Built a harness bar for my 4 point harness. Its attached with 3 bolts into the into the pinch seam and 3 into the B pillar. 1/4 plate on the sides and 1 1/2 thick wall tube. Think I might make a hoop to go up and over the seats too. Will put padding on the harness tube next so the back seaters wont smack it.

Gunna be replacing them with LED strips soon.

I love how you made the rails, That looks like it would be perfect for my OBA tank rails. Even if it doesn't work to be tanks it still looks amazing on the Jeep and would definitely help save your from rocks and stuff! Also love the rock lights! You put a whole new meaning to underglow on a vehicle!

How much weight do you think you can put on your homemade hitch? Not that I tow alot with a 4.0, it's nice to know I can tow a car-hauler and someone else junk if it breaks down. Also, when I see the holes through the uniframefor the fuel lines, does this not weaken the uniframe a bit in this area and may need to add a bit of flat steel to reenforce this area?
what did you do to "cover" the hole above you gastank? You lifted yours quite high it seems compared to some others I've seen.

So far I am loving all your mods and your DIY work, Ours is a dd so it's hard for me to do this kind of work to it, but if it was not, I would be all over this!
