I actually like the faded grey cladding. Still not sure if I want to paint them or not...

Try the linseed oil trick first? That's what I'm planning on doing.

I did all the "tricks" for 2 years and got tired of it so I just painted it all.

So I cleaned up the moabs today. They are a lot more scratched up than I thought. Not your fault kyle, I should have gotten better pics before I bought them. Anyways, here are some better day time pics:




I really like them the way they are, not sure if I want to paint them black anymore:


What do you guys think, re-clear them (they are scratched up good and are already corroding in some spots) or paint them black?

EDIT: That lip on the black looks like crap. If you do black, do the whole rim black

Right now I'm keeping them silver but I will be media-blasting them so I will make my decision then. Just trying to get rid of a virus on my computer (currently on my netbook) so I can photoshop the whole rim black
