Don't worry, I was just joking, I think it will look good I also love the black and red together, but mostly when it's short black skirt with red t-shirt

Really..!!!! ?
I would have thought 4.56 would be too much for hwy duty on 31 inch tall tires.....
Great hearing that...Looks good.

I have 4:56 gears on 31's and I am getting around 14-15 on the highway, just have to keep it under 70.

He is on 32's...4.56 is a bit tall for 32's on the highway but you can easily get by with them in an effort to only have to regear once.

I guess I gotta look into that.
I was thinking on 4.10 when regearing, at the same time as swapping
the HPD30, but I guess 4.56 might be better.
I am going to do some more thinking on that..

If you plan on running 33 or bigger, then you should do it.

I am at 33's right now, and the plan was to regear for 4.10
I am not sure of pinion strength with 4.56 in an HPD30 though....
My ultimate plan is 35 and full size axles next year or so, so I guess
I should only regear once.

If you wheel it, go with 4:56 for sure. Just easy on the skinny pedal.

Also keep in mind that V8 WJ has pretty high OD ratio (5th gear), so it has potential to save more gas with tall gearing.
But regardless of jeep type, 4.56 for 33" seems to be a good choice. It's a pity that there is nothing between 4.10 and 4.56. Something like 4.30 would be cool.
