Allright the gears are in I had them professionally installed...they did a very good job. Everything is smooth and quiet. The truetrac in the d35 works like a charm offroad...dont even notice its there on the road even when cornering...as long as you dont floor it when you take the turn. The jeep seems to be a little more ''peppy'' if i can say that...i honestly thought the difference would be a little bigger than that...but overall im happy with it. Big thanks to Nick at Kolak to help me get everything together.

Still in the process of breaking in the gears. I will have the gear oil change next monday after about 500 km. After that i will be able to see if its better or worst on gas.

cheers

Allright here is a little video to show how the trutrac works. I was in 2wd in a section of the road that was washed off and going up hill. I could not do it before in 2wd without one wheel spinning out of control.

I went on a camping trip last weekend and it was the first time with the 4.56 gears. I put 1000km on them. Highway milleage. I got 19.4 mpg out of them. Its pretty much the same as my 3.55 but i got a bit more power but less speed. Here is a few picture of them and the truetrac installed.

I am also currently working on setting up a cb in the jeep. I bought a firestik antenna and i already have a cobra cb. I cant install it right away because i have to put a spring on the bottom of the antenna so it doesnt rip the bracket off or break the antenna, they are not flexible.

It was pretty much the same really. From 19 up to 22. With the 3.55 i could go faster but it was struggling in hills...but my rpm was lower. With the 4.56 i have the power i need but the rpm is higher. Its hard to get the best of both world...maybe 4.11 ? but im really happy with the 4.56 im never gonna look back.

Went camping last weekend down maine, in old orchard beach. Here is a few picture of the set up. I am also working on a cb for the jeep...i have everything except the antenna mount. I tried to make one myself but it didnt work out, it was not stron enough for the firestik. So i just ordered the vertical dor jamb mount.

And at another camp site..also my friend's 04 overland in some pictures.

Thanks. I don't think those wheels come stock on any gc. They kinda looks the same a little but the previous owner bought them from the dealer separately.

Little update, i found a spot to mount the CB. I like it there, not in the way and easy to reach.
