Thanks man. I've heard the axle itself gives another 1/2 inch, just because the axle tubes are that much bigger. I still have to measure, but in its current state, sometimes it looks like the back sits a little higher anyways.

Installed my kor steering brace. Wicked easy, took less than 30 minutes.

Total noob question, but whats the point of the steering brace? Does it just help tighten the steering?

Theres a good explanation here. Its basically just to prevent the bolts from the steering box becoming loose, or the ears breaking off from the added stress of larger tires.

Did it change your steering feel at all? I will probably do mine this weekend, just curious.

Well I tested my battery, which I thought was bad (had the doors open for an hour or so while I was cleaning it yesterday), and out of 690 cca's it measured 544, and the tester was suggesting I replace it. Lucky for me, there was a duralast battery in the back of the store (advance) with all the other used batteries and its not even a year old, and its bigger. Out of 750 it measured 804. And guess what, I got it FOR FREE, since its not an autocraft, we can't sell it as a used battery.

I think I'm gonna buy these. I was gonna put my 8.8 in this week, but my jeep is driveable, so it can wait. I was gonna buy redzj's arb, but now that JCR is coming out with a diy bumper that will be a lot cheaper, I will probably go with that. I will never see another set of these for $500. ****, I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight.
