Well, I had an exciting time driving around in this blizzard.

First of all, I almost hit a ****ing tree lol. Was coming into an empty parking lot, and the road into it makes a 90 degree turn, with a ditch on the outside. So as I was driving in, I start to slide. I hit the brakes, and obviously it does nothing. At this time im like **** **** **** ****. So I'm sliding towards the ditch at <5 mph, and I'm aimed right at a huge ****ing tree. I straighten my wheel so I don't damage anything when I hit the ditch. As soon as I hit the ditch I stop, and thank God I didn't hit the tree. Then I throw it in PT and back right out of it. Nothing like the threat of crashing to get the juices flowing lol.

Second, I'm coming up to an intersection with a gas station, where there is a cop car sitting. I saw him about 20 minutes before in the same spot when I passed by earlier. So its a red light, and I'm about to turn left up a big hill. Well, as I'm approaching the red light, the cop is getting in his car, and when the light turns green, hes right there ready to pull out. So I throw it in PT so I don't look like an ******* drifting around the corner. Needless to say he follows me. Driving up the hill, I just see his headlights get further and further away as I mozie on up the hill. By the time I get to my turn, which is quite a ways from the top of the hill, I see his headlights just coming over the top of it. So obviously he sees me turn. I go about a half mile down the road, through some s-curves, and turn into my road. Then I drive about 200 ft down the road, throw it in park, and turn my lights off to see if he followed me. Needless to say (again), he followed me (again). Just up that road was the High school, which is probably where he thought I went lol. It was funny as hell.

Went cruising around with my neighbor tonight. LOTS of snow on the roads. Ended up witnessing a hit and run and stayed on the scene for about 40 minutes. Was a head on collision between a chevy pickup with dealer plates and a minivan. We were about 100 yards behind the truck when it fishtailed into the other lane and hit the minivan. Immediately the 2 guys in the truck bolted, didn't even bother to shut it off, thing was billowing steam. So we stopped, made sure the lady and her daughter in the van were ok. My neighbor called 911. Waited about 10 minutes for a paramedic to show up, then about a half dozen more showed up another 10 minutes later, along with an ambulance and a state cop. Both of them were pretty much ok, just shaken up, and driver had a possible knee injury. They were both taken out on stretchers for precaution. The passenger ended up coming back, and told the cop who the driver was. Cop said they were bringing dogs, but we didn't stay long enough to find out. Either way the driver's ****ed. Might have been drunk, but IDK.

Also offered to pull out another girl and her father in a parking lot, but she said her dad was a cranky old man and that he declined. So ended up having a pretty exciting day, got to use my strobes twice. Probably the most action my zj's ever seen lol.

Made some progress on my 8.8. Got the truss and brackets completely assembled. Just needs to be welded completely.

After I did the brakes on my sisters WK, I installed a pvc oil catch that I got on amazon for $20. Super crazy fast shipping. I think I ordered it like 2 days ago, if that. Next step is to get rid of that stupid ricey blue hose that came with it. Also flushed my heater core, and managed to get water/coolant literally all over the walls of my garage in the process. Also sent a payment to another member for a mopar performance pcm.

Edit: Forgot to add that after I flushed the heater core, I threw a thermometer in one of the vents. It got up to 170*, and it was still climbing. I wish I did that before I flushed it to see how much of a difference it made. The real test will be tomorrow morning.

Getting an Artec truss?
http://www.artecindustries.com/Front...-XJ_p_335.html

Id get 4.56s while you have the axles out.

Consider getting a Super 30 and Super 88 kit as well.

Might as well get ARBs or Ox lockers as well.
