Did a little bit of plastidipping today. Whatever its called that the license plate screws to, paint on it was looking ****ty, so I gave it about a half dozen coats.

Stopped by the post office to grab a flat rate box, came back out and when I tried to start it, the key was loose. Turned it all the way and there was no springy-ness lol. Kept fiddling with it and got it started, went home and took the lock cylinder out and found this (corner broke off), and I broke the black plastic around the steering column to get it out cause I didn't have anything to take the damn torx screws out. Ordered another lock cylinder from work but it won't be here til thursday. Not really what I felt like spending 65 bucks on, but I'll be somewhat happy as long as I don't need the ignition switch, which is another 40 bucks.

My zj is custom it doesnt matter what position the key is in in the ignition i can pull it out doing 70 down the highway and keep driving

Well, for the second day in a row it overheated in the same spot, going up a huge hill. Started backfiring like a mofo and I had no power. Pulled over for a minute and it was fine. So I bought a 180* thermostat since its recommended with a performance pcm. I was gonna get one anyways when I got around to doing my plenum, but I don't want to wait that long.

Bought some calipers for my 8.8 and painted them with the silver engine enamel I had left. I'm done with finals wednesday night, so I plan on starting the swap on thursday if I don't work, and if I do, then thursday night.
