I was thinking about painting just the bumper cover or all the cladding black. Not sure yet. The cut is temporary for a year or two. Then I will sell the Fawkes front recovery system and buy or fab a winch bumper. The baja cut was definitely done because of need, not looks.

They are awesome. I have them stacked in the basement waiting to be finished before I put them on. I will defintely post pics as soon as possible. He put together the doors and made the vinyl that snaps over the opening. Here is the only pic I have taken...

I'll let you negotiate a price with Dave and if he wants to share what I paid I'm ok with that. I know he is either on his way to moving to Cali or getting ready to. I didn't have them shipped, I met him at Bantam Fest in PA and picked them up. I looked into shipping and it was going to be $500-$600 for freight shipping from OH to NH if he crated them all. That didn't include additional charges for having them shipped to a residential address that doesn't have a loading dock. If you don't crate them and ship them individually it would've cost more.

I was just curious on how much he was getting for them. I plan on making some of my own eventually.

LOL I'll be there in Sacramento in the middle of July with my half doors plus 4 more sets turn into half doors.

Black cladding will make it easy to match the half door color too.

looks like all my old posts that had pics directly uploaded (rather than using photobucket to copy and paste them) have now had the pics deleted. They need to fix this and decide on a format. Its getting really irritating.

I agree. It's fun to keep up with other people's builds and have a community to go to for resources but not when it becomes less user friendly.
