I recently accepted a new job and am no longer working from home which is what created the need for the car. It will need some maintenance so the pause on jeep work continues. But now that I will have a DD, the saving $$ for LA'a begins. I'm thinking Clayton.

Nice car! The 330 should have brisk performance and a nice drive.

The deal fell through, bummer. The salesman tried to change the price at the end. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

great lookin jeep man! newish to the forum. we are potentially purchasing an 03' wj overland as soon as we get our tax returns back. im looking into the ome, and iro lifts, and trying to decide which one we want to go with.

glad to see youre from NH!! i live in rochester!

we will be ordering the lift, and tire combo as soon as we take ownership of the wj.

how are you liking the ome lift, and is there a need for adjustable ca's, front, or rear?

Hey, welcome to the forum and WJ (hopefully). I like the OME HD lift with bilsteins. Quality lift. I can't speak to IRO but have recently seen some bad reviews on their quality. I will be going long arms soon hopefully. Yes, I would get the adjustables (front lower at least). Do some searching aroung the WJ forums. Tons of stuff out there.

im going to be getting the ome lift rom kolak, along with 10mm spacers, and spidertraxs wheel spacers.

going to be running 245/75/17 duratracs. ive been running duratracs on my truck for the last 3 years, and just purchased another set of 4 in 285/75/16 size. i got about 35k out of them. should have gotten more, but my trucks motor is far from stock, and can be a bit fun when getting into the skinny pedal.

ill get adjustable control arms in the future. ill see how it handles for now. its gonna be a dd, until we find some decent trails around here. just class VI roads around here.

Class VI's are fun if you find the right one's. I go to some other towns, PM me if you're interested in directions. Or, I can show you around some after winter and mud season. I would still recommend adj CA's for a DD. Especially for a DD, IMO. Get front lowers at the very least. With that tire size (same as mine) you will have to do some serious cutting to the front bumper. More cutting to the sheet metal in the fender if you don't go adjustable and kick the axle forward. You can come check mine out if you're ever around Concord. Give it a test drive if you want.

So I ended up getting a gray BMW instead of the black one in the picture and have been commuting to work with it. The jeep has been sitting for about a week. This morning I went out to clean the snow off it, warm it up, and use it this weekend. I don't want it to sit too long. Well, I got it all warm and cleaned off the windshield to find that an old chip repair I had done is now spidered in multiple directions. Some of the cracks are about 7-8 inches long. Bummer. Obviously the windshield needs replaced now. Also, I threw a check engine light last weekend. The trans solenoid needs replaced. Just Empty Every Pocket!

How would that work without my premium going up and not having to pay the deductible?
