Id paint the hood and roof satin and where you took the cladding off. But thatd be a ballsy move.

Good inputs guys, thanks. I am actually leaning toward painting them silver to match. I have vinyl for the doors/windows that snaps in I just need to post a pic. Painting anything else on the jeep is a ballsy move. Especially since the full silver doors go back on for the winter.

Put a feeler post in the calssified for the tire carrier. I'm thinking about going a new route with the spare tire. This carrier is great but I think I want to fab some front and rear bumpers. It retails for $295+Shipping. I'm asking $250+shipping but make me an offer if you're interested.

Taking a break from the Jeep to work on an expedition trailer build. I am thinking that I will use the wood box pikes peak trailer as a model.

A little work to the jeep needed. Getting ready to do the right side valve cover gasket and the shift solenoid. Fun! Also, I have put the original doors back on, sold the tire carrier and put the tire back on the roof, and am looking into wiring some roof lights.

You make any progress with your expedition trailer?

I ended up sacrificing the one in the pic for parts, bought more parts, then got caught up in hunting season so no progress. I put it aside under a tarp for the winter. Oh, I also got a new yellow lab puppy for waterfowl retrieving so training has been sucking up time too.

The doors are definitely going silver in the spring. Thanks for the vote! Also, just did the right side valve cover gasket yesterday. Noticed the left side is seeping too so that goes on the list. The light for the shift solenoid went off on it's own so I haven't bothered with that yet.
