Already gave the rims rock rash. Glad I rattle canned them instead of powder coating. It's hard to tell in the pic but that is a pretty good gouge in the rim. 3 out of the 4 wheels have some level of rash. I plan to touch them up with every tire rotation. No reason to keep chasing it now. Glad I chose to sell the pro comp wheels and "downgrade" to moabs.

Yeah, it was a great time. I can also report that the overland rock rails are stout! I came down on them hard a couple times throughout the day and all they are going to need is a little touch up paint. I had spotters through some of the rocks and there were times where I slid off a rock and smacked the rail. The sound echoed through the woods and I watched them cringe. No damage = good rails.

So in NH we have to have license plate lights on the rear plate in order to be legal. I added a light to the tire carrier today. First I spliced the license plate wiring into the driver's side brake light harness so that it only turns on when headlights are on. Then ran the wires down behind the bumper, out by the trailer harness and up the tire carrier. Then I covered it up with loom and zip tied it all together.

Lol, yeah, I always have spare zip ties, a roll of duct tape, and bungee cords just in case.

But seriously, those are temporary until I have time to fab up a bracket.

Looks awesome! I like it like that. Also the wiring for the licence plate light looks real neat!

I honestly can't remember because I ordered a few things. I think it was atound $300. Give Mark at DetoursUSA a call and see what he will do. I don't think he has made many for the WJ so it might be open to negotiation. Don't hold me to though.
