The shock and coilover will come off the trailing arm going through the floor in the rear and attached to the shock tower.

Here is a cell pic of the Joints..waiting on the bushings now.. so if everything goes good i will be busy this weekend .... I will also be making some Uni-body stiffeners.

These Johnny Joints are HUGE!!!!

Next i will be ordering 14" travel 2.5 King coilovers to put in place of the front spring..

My rear upper and lower control arms will be for sale soon.. so if anyone is interested pm me.. they are IRO all adjustable arms.
What are the specs on the tube for the arms? If its 2" .250 DOM, it will bend if you land on it ever. I know it's a runner and not a crawler, but **** happens. You may be thinking that the claytons arms don't bend easy being 2" .250, but square is A LOT tougher to bend in that size.

The trussed trailing arm would be good, can't tell if you are still planning that.

Also, I would go back to heims, use a good QA1, Aurora, FK bearing, or other quality piece. You will likely end up stretching the casing FAST if you baja the ZJ much. I'm on my way to replacing all my JJ's with Heims.

Looking very cool though Cache, You ought to post this build on Mall Crawlin, I'm sure Kraqa (and others) would love this. Very out of the box for a ZJ build, not very many pre runners, and even fewer doing it right. Triple bypasses! PIMP.

Actually the arm are DOM .120...... im still thinking about going the trailing arm look im leaning more towards it because i love how it looks.
Heres one he did on a XJ

. I'll try out the JJ's and see how they hold up, already paid for them so might as well..hahah.. I'll have to post it over on mallcrawlin, i usually just browse around over there dont really post.

Holy crap. That .120 scares the hell out of me. Definitly sleeve it, or definitly do a trailing arm, although I'd go a bit higher clearance than that XJ, or you'll be on the arm all the time, cresting steep hills. Your ZJ will look sweet with trailing arms.

You should appreciate these trailing arms if you love the look of race arms.

Saw these being built in person, they are awesome, and SO strong, all chromo plate!

Have you ever considered doing a radius arm with panhard for the rear. I can't see any reason it would'nt work, it would be simple and you could build some awsome trailing arms. Ive personally only seen one other rig with a radius link rear suspension but i always thought it would be cool on a pre runner.

Heres a pic of the rear arms.... they look a little low but i still havent seen them in person... right now all the arms are being powdercoated and everything should be installed by the weekend.. all there is left now is the unibody stiffeners.
