Finally a build thread!!!!-cache-..project wannabe pre-runner!!

Well finally had some time to get some pictures together of the jeep and decided to do a little build thread for you guys... here it is.. i know im missing some pics so i will add to it as i find them

Started sanding!!





Flat black!



It was a little to hard to clean so we re-painted it.

Painted the front glass fenders and grill to match the rest of the jeep





Started gutting the inside for new (JY) seats and rear shock hoop.



HP Dana 30 from a 96 cherokee


4.56 gears


Front axle and new gears being installed.




King 2.5 16" travel shocks for the rear.





how it sits as of last week.. the only thing different is that i removed the rear hatch

JY seats off a laredo waiting to go in.


I also installed a 242 but i did not get a picture of it for some reason.. and i also installed a shift kit and rebuilt the trans about 2 months ago..

I will be making a rear bumper somewhat like this in the next coming week, i will take panty of pics..

Why are you swapping in junkyard Laredo seats when you had seats that actually matched before?

Because i already had the jeep and loved it, and had already started modifying it so why not. I know A arms work better for what i use it for but hey i cant complain it does great offroad.

Nah the gears were installed by the same guy that did my trans... i helped though..haha..

The rear fenders i will be getting as soon as i cut up the back so they can actually serve a purpose instead of just for looks.

Well i got home after work and started taking the jeep off the trailer after my trip this past weekend and found a broken rear window,im thinking because of the removed rear hatch and the beating it took for 3 days..hahah...
